The Story

Omwani Coffee Company are one of our favourite bean importers to work with. We've partnered with them on exciting projects, such as the limited edition Madagascan lot from two years ago. They specialise in bringing in speciality coffees from new & exciting farms by building strong relationships and paying fair prices to farmers - two things we're equally passionate about. This lovely coffee from Burundi is tasting like sweet pudding wine, grape and nectarines!

Migoti Coffee Company are a speciality coffee producer and washing station based in Migoti mountain, approximately 30km from the centre of bustling Bujumbura. Their vision is to connect local small estate farmers with international buyers & roasters through quality coffee processing and transparent supply chains. The washing station employs ten permanent employees, along with over two hundred and fifty seasonal workers, most of whom are women. They also reach out to farmers in order to provide education on the proper maintenance of coffee trees, which in turn contributes toward increase crop yields and quality. NOTES OF SWEET WINE, GRAPE AND NECTARINE.
