The Story

We're all about showcasing all that coffee can be. People always ask us, why do we babble on about which process each coffee has undergone? Well, now we can show you. If you've just tried our Ethiopia Adola, this is the exact same coffee but processed naturally. No funny business, just good ol' fermentation bringing the funk into your morning cup. Notes of Orange Juice, Ribena and Honey.

This coffee is produced in the Woreda of Adola, Guji region. The Adola Washing Station has 250 raised beds and 300 members of staff during harvest season. The scale of this project coupled with its ease of access has meant that this year Israel has processed the coffees from the 1470 smallholders as washed, natural and anaerobic lots.

Israel has set up the Buna Qala Charity and a smallholder membership scheme that reinvests profits back into community projects and healthcare, education, agricultural and financial incentives. The Adola region have just launched an access to clean water project. The goal of the project is to provide the local communities with clean and pure water.

Roasted Tuesday & Thursday. Dispatched same day.
