The Story
Panama | Finca Santa Teresa | Whole Bean
Our Panama Finca Santa Teresa is a prime example of excellence in farming. The result in the cup is quite incredible. You take the first sip and taste an explosive fruity note of lychee and honey suckle. When you take another sip you taste creamy strawberries and florals. A very sweet and complex coffee.
The Finca Santa Teresa farm in Panama is a beautiful place. It is located high in the cloud forest of Panama, in the Renacimiento District of the Chiriquí Province. FST sits close to the border with Costa Rica and Panama’s highest peak, the Volcan Baru. Adjacent is La Amistad National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The key to this coffee is terroir in which it resides – rich volcanic soils, high altitude, weather systems driven by the Pacific and Atlantic and a series of ridges and valleys. The result in the coffee is an incredibly juicy and fruity cup.
